My life changed when I received the confirmation of being diagnosed with this life changing illness. But, with a positive attitude and amazing support I’m learning to cope with it.

“MS doesn’t define who I am.”
-Teri Garr

I have used the abbreviation of Multiple Sclerosis and called my blog “Mo Scéal”, meaning “my story” in Irish.

I have created this blog to simply write about my daily life coping with Multiple Sclerosis and explain the types of symptoms that I experience. If anything, this blog is to try to “normalize” the strange symptoms to help people compare and understand what I, along with many other MS patients go through from a day to day, week to week, month to month and year to year basis.

In writing this blog I am not assuming that I am an expert on MS! I am still learning how to cope with this Chronic disease, so, for that reason I will only be speaking out of experience and not total assumptions.
